Caroline was Regeneration Officer for Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council. She is a qualified ESOL tutor and lives in Hyde.

Tasleem Ayoub
Vice-chair
Tasleem works as the Family Learning Manager at New Charter Academy. She is a former career advisor, community worker and Hyde Community Action volunteer mentor. Tasleem is of British Pakistani heritage and lives in Ashton.

Anisha Aktar

Anisha is a paralegal worker of British-Bangladeshi heritage. She lives in Hyde.

Liza Ahmed Choudhury
Trustee
Liza is a graduate of Hyde Community Action’s Bengali Women’s Programme Enterprising Women project. She is an entrepreneur, has personal experience of community fund-raising in Bangladesh and of immigration. Liza lives in Hyde.

Johura is a former community outreach worker of British-Bangladeshi heritage. She lives in Hyde.

Penny Noel
Trustee
Penny is a university lecturer in education and researcher, a former Ofsted inspector and equal opportunities coordinator and has previously founded her own charity. Penny lives in Hyde.

Rumena Sultana
Trustee
Rumena is a graduate of Hyde Community Action’s Bengali Women’s Programme. She has volunteer experience in advice surgery triage, community interpretation and project evaluation. She is of Bangladeshi heritage and has personal experience of immigration. Rumena lives in Hyde.
